This year First Communion is scheduled to hold during the Mass of the Feast of the Corpus Christ (Body of Chirist) on Jun 22. The preparation class for First Communion is to be conducted according to the following schedule. Those who wish to receive their first communion are asked to sumit their completed application form to Fr. Toshio Sakai or the staff of the Church School (Children's Sunday Catechism) by the end of March.
Class for appliant's parents is also to be conducted. The details of parent's class are to be announced later. On this occasion, we hope that each family will find the opportunity to talk about the faith, and share the grace and joy of the children receiving their First Communion.
- Applicant's age: Children in the second grade or or upper as of April 2014 and who have not yet received First Communion
- Guidance date: April 6 (Sun)
- Guidance time: After 9:30 Mass
- Who will attend the guidance? : Applicants (children and parents)
Class Schedule:
April 26 (Sat)
May 10 (Sat) and 24 (Sat)
Jun 7 (Sat) and 21 (Sat) [penance/reconciliation]
* All classes are in Japanese.
Class time: Saturday 16:00pm - 17:00pm
Class venue: 1st floor of parish house (Shinto Kaikan Kaigishitsu)
